If you’ve been using OxyElite Pro or VERSA-1 to lose weight and build muscle, then Stop. Immediately!

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is advising people to immediately stop using OxyElite Pro and another supplement, VERSA-1, which are manufactured by USP Labs LLC, based in Dallas, Texas. On November 19, USP Labs added another supplement to its recall list, Raspberry Lemonade OxyElite Pro Super Thermo Powder in 4.6 oz. containers.

OxyElite Pro, a diet supplement marketed for weight loss and muscle growth, was recalled after being linked to acute liver failure and cases of hepatitis. The FDA, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and state and local health officials are investigating more than 50 cases of acute non-viral hepatitis.

As of October 31, 56 cases had been identified. Among these cases, one person has died, two people have received liver transplants, and 22 people have been hospitalized.

If you have experienced problems after taking OxyElite Pro or VERSA-1, report them online or call 1-800-332-1088 and request a complaint form.

USP Labs LLC will destroy the remaining supply of OxyElite Pro supplements under supervision from the FDA.
